What Is Jake & Gino Youth Academy All About? 

My name is Gino Barbaro, and I am joined by my beautiful wife, Julia. We have six children that we homeschool. I am the co-founder of J&G, a multifamily real estate education company that teaches students to become financially free through investing in real estate. We are the hosts of the podcast Multifamily Zone, where we discuss topics on family, communication and strengthening relationships.

Julia & I both want to ask you a few questions. Is the subject of money in your home a challenging one to discuss? Do you find that the education system is not teaching our kids finance and money skills? Are you finding it difficult to find a program or mentor that could teach you and your kids about the subject of money? Do you even know where to start or what to teach your kids?

We were confronted with all of these challenges, and were looking for ways to discuss money and finance with our kids. In the beginning, it was difficult for me. I was pushing them into hard subjects that they could not understand. I was not making it fun. I wasn’t connecting with the kids. And most importantly, I was not discussing skills for them to learn to become successful adults and creating a growth mindset.

Finally, I stumbled upon a book called the Richest Man in Babylon. It was instrumental in my life for several reasons. The first reason was that the principles taught in the book were simple. They were easy to understand, implement, and a child could see results.

Secondly, through my journey of becoming financially free, and building multiple businesses, I was able to learn and repeat the skills that transformed my financial life from one of mediocrity to one of abundance.

This is why Julia & I have created the Youth Academy, to teach teens and young adults how to take control of their financial future and to become responsible adults. Parents will love the program because they will have a framework to teach their young ones as they grow the life skills needed to succeed and the money skills to flourish.

This is what you will get with The Youth Academy.  We start out with What Can The Parents do, followed by skills to learn & personal development, money, financial literacy and investing, insurance buying, taxes, and finally charity, contribution and leaving a legacy.
